Absolute loved the place! Why? Because of their food! That is what restaurants are supposed to do! They serve buffet all 7 days of the week between 11am - 3pm. Their food is super fresh, tasty, right amount of spice.
They had so many options, veg and nonveg separate sections - 8 options each. There was all kinds of meat- fish, shrimp, lamb, 5 types of chicken. There was fresh naan coming up frequently too.
There was Ragda pattice, dessert and salad and soup section separately.
Also their price is $19.95 per person which I think is reasonable as compared to other options around.
Recommend all Indian food lovers to go.

Did takeout of a couple of their paneer dishes and naan. It was right at closing but the food was still great quality. The vegetables in the curries (palak and muttar) tasted really fresh, which feels like a small thing but made the dishes really stand out for us. We'd definitely order from here again!

East India Grill is an excellent Indian restaurant belying its 3.9 rating! Food-wise the Karahi Chicken flavor is fabulously savory! Tikka Masala is well done. The presentation at the table of the food is straight out of the UK where Indian food reigns supreme above all other non-European food 😊 Will definitely come back here and glad there is an awesome spot in the south end far away from the incovenience of Seattle! This place wants to be a little nicer restaurant, ala the Grouchy Chef in Mukilteo 🧡 Really worth trying here once and see what you think. Not many great Indian restaurants around (。•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧

We ordered to go. This place labeled our food. Often our food isn't labeled at other restaurants. This means a lot to me as I am a picky eater. Thank you so much.

There are not much choices for Indian food in and around Auburn. For the buffet considering the variety of food items from appetizers to main courses to dessert’s to chutneys at a rate of $20 per person - this is a steal. The service is good, the restaurant is clean. Food on a whole was good too. The restaurant has a strict policy of not taking pictures of the buffet

The staff at East India Grill were very attentive and friendly. They quickly cleared the buffet dished and kept our drinks refilled.
The buffet food was hot and fresh, and there were plenty of options. Most of the dishes were very mild and not spicy. The bread was excellent, and the chicken biryani was a hit. The pepper chicken and the lamb were also excellent, as were the unnamed appetizers that were being grilled (topped with spices, onions, chickpeas, and tandoori sauce with yogurt).
The vegetarian section was fresh and stuffed full of options, including tastu vegetable pakoras and a zucchini dish.
The restrooms were well-kept and very clean, as was the rest of the restaurant. At $20 per person, it's a reasonable price. We would gladly visit again (but we might need to ask for a spicy sauce)!
